Brother Tommy Worrell pastored True Vine Baptist Church, an affiliated church of the Blue Ridge Baptist Camp- meeting, from December of 1978 until he went home to be with the Lord in August of 1990.Brother Worrell saw a great need in recording church services, preaching, and singing as a part of his ministry. Bro. Worrell taped many messages of preachers who preached for the Blue Ridge Baptist Campmeeting, including many campmeeting services.
Brother Terry Worrell, Brother Tommy and Hattie Worrell's son, created a website that contains many messages and history of preachers who founded, moderated, and preached at the Blue Ridge Baptist Campmeeting such as: A. My family were members of Tabernacle Baptist Church, in Greenville, SC with Dr. Harold Sightler. My brother, Dr. Melvin Aiken, grew up under the preaching of many of these great men of God and Pastored Tabernacle Baptist, after the passing , of Dr. Sightler. He has preached the Gospel, more than 60 years.
